One of the byproducts of being an artist is gaining a greater awareness about oneself. At first this is tough because one has to admit things to themselves and go through this emotional journey through those things. However the more we work on ourselves and aim to be a better person than the day before the better we become. Some people call this a spiritual path, I just think it is a path out of the mind and into a state of congruency with our true self, which is made up of all those parts we tend to give more focus to then the parts that also exist within us. Not everyone will understand this straight away and that is ok for now.
